Novipiù Europe Cup 2016, first edition of this international tournament, welcomed eight of the best U16 teams of Europe challenging each other at PalaEinaudi in Moncalieri (Torino), from February 26th to February 28th, 2016.
Three days of exciting new-generation basketball showed to hundreds of Turin fans the best talents from the youth teams of Real Madrid, Partizan Belgrade, Cibona Zagreb, Brose Bamberg, Fenerbahce Istanbul, U15 Lithuanian National team, Stellazzurra and, obviously, PMS Basketball, which has been the host of the competition.
Two round-robin groups of 4 teams each qualified the 2 top teams to play each other in the championship game, where Real Madrid beated Italian team Stellazzurra Basketball Academy to win Novipiù Europe Cup 2016 title.
La Novipiù Europe Cup 2016, prima edizione del torneo, è stata organizzata al PalaEinaudi di Moncalieri dal 26 al 28 febbraio 2016 e ha visto schierarsi ai nastri di partenza otto delle più importanti formazioni Under 16 d’Europa.
Tre giorni di grande basket, davanti ad appassionati, giornalisti, scout ed addetti ai lavori, hanno visto sfidarsi Real Madrid, Partizan Belgrado, Cibona Zagabria, Brose Bamberg, Fenerbahce Istanbul, la Nazionale Lituana U15, la Stella Azzurra Roma e, ovviamente, PMS Basketball.
Due gironi all’italiana da 4 squadre ciascuno hanno decretato il tabellone delle finali incrociate, con il titolo della Novipiù Europe Cup 2016 finito agilmente nelle mani del Real Madrid, protagonista di un atto finale dominante sulla Stellazzurra Roma.
